The main areas of research of the UIAF

New protocols of computed tomography (CT) scanning and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are used to focus the autopsy on specific abnormalities, view injury patterns in 3 dimensions, detect occult disease or injury without dissection, and evaluate anatomic areas that are difficult to dissect.
