1. Can the UMPT be mandated by a doctor to carry out an expert evaluation ?

No, the UMPT only works on behalf of the competent cantonal authorities.

2. What course of action should be taken by a doctor if s/he is concerned about a patient who no longer appears fit to drive ?

Contact the competent cantonal authority and explain the situation.

3. Can the UMPT pass on the results of the expert evaluation directly to the individual ?

No, only the competent cantonal authority is entitled to do so.
